Summer returned today. Blue skies, hot sun and even an early evening bar b que.
I managed to negotiate a couple of hours at Stover this morning.
I set off with the intention of trying to get some flying dragons but, even in the perfect conditions, I hardly saw any.
Spotted the kingfisher again streaking across the lake.
When it was time to leave I noticed a couple of dragonflies protecting their area over a small pond. With no time left to practise my shots I had to wait until one settled on this rather unattractive twig and fire off a few hasty shots. Thankfully this one is sharp enough and I do like the background bokeh
