Adam

This morning we were still talking about how delicious our meal at Sorrel had been last night. Its a special occasion restaurant and certainly not the kind of place you would often eat at, but the food was certainly very memorable as one would expect from one of the Great British Chefs. Adam got a roasting on social media from his friends about his outfit last night, so here he is again not looking like Dwayne Johnson or a rapper but dressed more conservatively in his golf shirt just before he and Gavin went off to play golf today!

It has been a quiet day - we had a BBQ for lunch, probably our last BBQ for this summer but being a bank holiday weekend it was traditional to enjoy a BBQ today. While Gavin and Adam played golf, Inca was studying for her forthcoming university exams, Tommy was relaxing, and I have been pottering about and editing some photos. Luke is back home in London studying for his exams which take place this week. It feels like the summer holidays are over now.

I wanted a photo of Adam as I usually take a birthday portrait of the boys every year. Adam had his hair cut before we went out last night and is not happy with his haircut or his photo, but hey ho, I wanted to mark the occasion so it will have to do. He leaves to go back to Cambridge tonight and we probably won't see him for a while (another excuse to get a photo of him), probably it will only be in October when we take Tommy back to university.
