Old and new

The view across the meadows to the Quartermile, advertised as a cosmopolitan mix of luxury conversion and new build apartments, cafés and shops in a prime city centre location. Quartermile is said to be the most exciting new residential address in Scotland's capital.
The sandstone buildings are the old Nightingale wards of the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary. I must say that to my eye the mixture of old and new works extremely well. I could happily live there!
