Day 97. Happy Lhosar

Our Tibetan new year celebration started with butter tea, Tsampa, sweet rice, Khapsey, coconut biscuits and lots of dried fruits and sweets... Then we were invited to Tsering's dad house for more food. I worn a "chupa" a Tibetan dress and Andy a Tamang hat and walked through the main Stupa. Lots of people were staring at us as we walked pass, even foreign people. They thought that Mr Spoon had married a Tibetan lady... I was pleased to hear that :-)

This photo was in our monastery school, where the monks and mini monks were celebrating and having a relaxing time.
