Surrounded by Mountains

Back home again after a fabulous few days away! Everything was just lovely. The setting of the hotel is in a big park full of trees surrounded by high mountains and the River Rhône running between them in the valley.
We were so lucky with the weather and it only changed to cooler with rain on the day when we left!

The main photo was taken from a bridge crossing the river, so that I could get a better view.  I thought it looked rather like a big bird with wings outstretched. Can you see the beak on the upper left?  This mountain is called 'Dent de Morcles'. From this position, we can only see the tip.
