Sharp pricks of winter

A heavy fall of very soft snow made a walk around nearby College Wood part magical and part quagmire. At first sight everything was brilliant white snow, then I started noticing small details which were briefly thrust into the limelight by the framing of the snow. Should be even better if it freezes tonight.
