Weeeeeeee!

This poor blackbird was trying to get the sunflower seeds out of the feeder but he couldn't quite balance on the bar and get his head down to the hole, so he constantly flapped his wings to help him keep his balance, which made the feeder swing. He didn't seem to be too bothered about a swinging meal and persisted with the activity. To his credit, he perfected the technique and managed to get quite a decent meal, then he disappeared, presumably to have a rest.
We had snow overnight and more snow fell all morning. It has now stopped snowing (2.30pm) and looks like it might be beginning to thaw - fingers crossed :-)
