Stay In The Shelter Of The Tack Room

This lovely old lady Lucy is 17 and is the matriarch of the yard, she is hard of hearing, half blind and not so quick on her feet anymore...but she still keeps us all in order!

When I went up to do China this afternoon in the pouring rain and howling wind that left me walking a snorting dragon-horse through the village, Lucy was sensible enough to stay in the shelter of tack room on her fluffy mat.
