Linlithgow Kayakers

Enjoying a paddle on the Union Canal. Quite a long paddle if they were going all the way from The Falkirk Wheel to Linlithgow.

The weather was reasonably warm and sunny ..... ideal conditions for this group of enthusiasts. L and I were happy to give them a wave from the bridge before we walked back up to the wonderful piece of engineering that we know as the Falkirk Wheel.

It's a very popular tourist attraction and today it seemed particularly busy with families and cyclists. For those who don't mind a good walk/cycle it's almost 5 miles from the Wheel down to the Kelpies in Helix Park ... we took the car!
