Red Admiral butterfly

It's been mostly sunny today, it's been lovely to see blue sky after the grey of the last coupleof days.

I did various jobs in the house and made a batch of veg and lentil soup.  I also did some gardening this afternoon and there were lots of butterflies around especially on my dwarf buddleia (not up to my record of 15 tortoishells though).  This is a beautiful Red Admiral showing it's colourful wing patterns.
