Best seat in the house!

I met up with a friend from Wales at the Gormley Iron Men this morning. She loves the statues and had been missing seeing them during lockdown so it was lovely to catch up with her and see her delight to be back with 'her men'.
I watched these birds lift up into the air together several times before I managed to catch them - slightly soggy feet and a bracing wind but worth the wait, especially the bonus of the guy who got the plum resting perch.
