Mr Peewee, Chester

So nice to see and hear the buskers out and about again. Mr Peewee, aka Dave Southern, was at The Cross today with his foot tapping drumming versions of Chuck Berry and Elvis classics.  A unique busker, with his bespoke bicycle theatre and (sometimes) dancing rescue dog, Mr Peewee is a stalwart of Chester's busking scene. Originally a fire-eating unicyclist, Dave has been entertaining the crowds here for nearly 30 years. He's particularly popular on race days when  race goers ( especially those with bottles of vodka in their clutch bags) just can't resist a bop along to La Bamba or I'm Gonna Be.
