Buckwheat

Eriogonum giganteum, I think. St Catherine's Lace.  In a dry corner of the garden, in the early evening when the smoke lifted a little and there was an hour of evening sunshine.  Had to close everything up again later on. It's cool enough to work in the garden, but too smoky .. not cycling in this stuff, either ..
