Clouds and dunes

Cleethorpes wasn't very nice at all under cloud and rain. Skegness was worse. Thank goodness for Sutton on Sea. No arcades or shrieking funfair rides; just a pleasant family-friendly sea-side town with a long stretch of sandy beach and even grassy dunes. I don't know how the town has escaped the brassy over-development of the nearby resorts, but I'm glad it has.
Oddly, there were no seagulls here - not a single one - though there had been plenty in the aforementioned honey-pot resort towns to the north and south. So we were not molested while eating our fish and chips.
