Lake Wakatipu

We walked into town and down to the lake front this morning. This took just 10 minutes. It was fine but the wind was brisk and the lake surface was a little choppy. Queenstown has more than doubled in size since we last visited in 1995. With no overseas tourism and no Aucklanders it was still very busy. This picture looks down the west arm of the lake. Afterwards we found Starbucks for a nice coffee and a bite to eat.
