Number one son returns home today (along with a layer if snow) after spending the weekend in a "Hot Tub" (say no more!) in Ellsmere.

Received confirmation today that our camera club (DAPA Group) came 2nd in the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain - Great British Cup. This is a big annual event for anyone involved with a camera clubs affiliated to the PAGB. Well over a hundred clubs take part - with each club entering 15 images, the club who scores the most points from said 15 images is declared the winner. Wigan 10 won having scored 200 points we came second with 189.

No work today (hooray!) staying at home with Harvey (bestist buddy) waiting for the arrival of Nikkormat from the USA. However, I'm not best pleased, HMR&C - charged me an extra twelve quid (Import) VAT - PO on the other hand slapped on a whopping fifteen quid handling fee! Think I'll stick to buying in the EU from now on.
