The lovelies!

Spence had his swimming carnival today for school. I dropped him off at school then they were getting the bus to the pool. I went straight there and got a good seat by the pool! It was a carnival for Prep, Year 1,2 and 3, so not the whole school luckily.

There were races in freestyle, backstroke and breaststroke for those who could do it or wanted to give it a go in 25m and 12.5 meter distance. Spence went in the 12.5m freestyle and backstroke and they also had relays at the end using 'noodles' (foam flotation thingies in the shape of a noodle!). I went over to spence just before the last race and the first thing he said to me was 'Mum, can we go home now?'!! He was exhausted!! It was a long day for little kids, mostly just sitting around waiting! 8.30 til 12!

He finished his race then we ended up staying there for lunch and a swim in the little pool with Joti and some others from school so didn't get home until 2.30! Spence spent the afternoon watching tv after that!
