Manatee

Hooray for video conferencing.

The pandemic has gone on too long. Even smart, careful people are taking unnecessary risks, including people near and dear to me.

We received our ballots. I told Karen we need to vote and send them in tomorrow. "Why so early?" Because the postal service is being disrupted. I explained what had happened. "That is what pushed my parents over the edge."

Before behavioral economics and behavioral finance we were taught that everyone made rational decisions. If a decision did not seem rational then we did not understand everything behind it.

We had a protest in DC today. It was smaller than originally planned because buses from hotspot states didn't come.

Meanwhile, I finished something up for work. We got it done and submitted with one minute to spare. I know this is bizarre - but it was kind of exciting and fun.

And finally, this is my last weekend before the wedding.
