Just One Single Flower

I have not been very successful photographing Gladioli flowers, I have always tried to get the whole stem of flowers. Because of the way this stem bent, the one flower was easy to capture and I rather like the photo of it. FF photo in the bag......good. Thanks Anni for continuing this fun challenge every week; it seems to be the one that I seldom miss. 

I am doing better today; the pain is less and hopefully headed back toward pain free.......I am being quite careful not to lift anything heavy or twist quickly.  

We are at the beach.......but there has been a change of plans. My daughter is still coming to Rockaway but she will be staying with her brother & sister-in-law at the beautiful beachfront house owned by her brother's in-laws.  Our place is perfectly adequate, but no view of the ocean.....I was a little sad at first, but we will be able to spend as much time as we want with them and we will watch the sunset happen from their deck......it will be great, just different than I had expected.  I am actually very happy that they got the invitation there because it will be delightful.

I was thinking today about simplifying my space over here so I took everything out of my closet and dresser.....I took two big boxes to the local thrift store before I could change my mind. I feel really good about it and I am going to do more editing while I am still in the mood right now.....so I will be back on here later.
