Time To Build An Ark

Even the TV and radio weather reports describe the rain as being ‘biblical‘ whatever that mean. It has absolutely bucketed down, torrents running down towards the town.
We have had a couple of cold callers on the telephone over the last few days but none offering flood insurance which is a pity as although we live only eight hundred metres from the harbour side we live sixty metres above sea level.
Our front door step is higher than the clock tower on King Charles The Martyr Church, our parish church.
