Red sky at night

Firstly a massive thank you for all those stars and hearts on my steam train blip, currently riding high on page one of the Populars :-))

A cold and dismal day.......we slept well but were woken up by the builders opposite at 7.03 which in my book is way too early to be hammering and sawing :-/

We popped to our favourite butchers late morning....bought some beef fillet, a couple of fresh chickens and a lovely piece of beef brisket.

A quick call into Tesco to purchase a specific bottles of white wine, ready for a wine tasting that our daughter is organising next weekend.

A quick pitstop for a coffee and egg sandwich in Costa for lunch, before heading back. Spent the afternoon doing odd jobs, hubs put new handles on some of the kitchen drawers.
I cleaned up after him ;-)

Made a fab beef chowmein for dinner.....weve been catching up on Our Yorkshire Farm, since so many blippers have recommended it.
We are totlaly hooked!! I think little Clemmie is a star in the making :-D

We have succumbed this evening, its so chilly, put the fire on, not the heating though!!
Hubs just asked if I want a drink, my answer was yes, but not with ice....so have gone for a glass of red!

Well, thats about it for today.......just a quick blip out of the window this evening as the sun was setting.....luckily I noticed a red glow reflecting through the mirror in the dining room, otherwise I would have been blipless!
