It's been over a month now but I've managed to do a video call with my Gran in hospital. Unfortunately we still can't see her, as it's only one visitor at the moment so my mum keeps us all updated. Her speech and movement is doing really well, apparently she walked a mile with her physiotherapist today, which is incredible! It's still a long road ahead but she is doing amazingly well. It was so lovely to chat with her. She was more concerned about how I was and making sure I was ok than the other way around!
