Chirpy, chirpy, cheep, cheep

I know I say this every year but it always surprises me when more baby goldfinches turn up.
They’ve been cheeping away in the cherry tree and these two followed their parent down to be fed.

We went out for a drive round the Cromarty loop to wash the car and get some more eggs.
Lots of Canada geese at Udale bay and I eventually spotted the little egret out by the waters edge.
We had large fishfingers for dinner with chips and mushy peas from the chippy.
