Hamilton Station

Getting dark fast at 8pm. W. and I dropped off the recycling in Hamilton, the next little town over, and parked by the W&OD Trail for a walk. The trail used to be the rail line for the Washington and Old Dominion RR, and this was the station...getting a bit decrepit now. Just out of sight is the Loudoun Mill, which I blipped on August 16. 

The summer trees are tunneling over the trail now, and with the high humidity the cicadas are very loud! - and the moon very fuzzy. I walked back to the car leaving W. to his run, about 5 miles or so home.
