Wet wet wet

After a happy morning out painting with two girl friends l went out for my first lunch in a cafe... shock horrors!  It was really lovely to see friends and family over a meal and not have to cook, shop or wash up!!  Having said that... l am happy to back in my hole now and don't plan another outing like that anytime soon. Having been very quietly at home for so long it felt quite normal but strange to sit among friends without masks, inside eating while being served food, plates and cutlery by a waitress with no mask.. there were so many opportunities for spreading of virus if it was there.. and no time to stop to alter the situation (and that was with no alcohol) ... it is going to take me time to feel comfortable again and whilst this virus is out there still we should all be very 'alert' and conscious of the consequences. 
Stay safe everyone (does anyone remember the saying 'the world needs more lerts' ??)
Oh yes.. and it rained most of the afternoon.. Flossie decided a walk wasn't necessary we headed out and as soon as we reached the long grass in the field she started rolling in it.. rolled and rolled ane rolled and rolled again.. weird dog.. she only stopped rolling when l said c'mon lets go home.. funny creature.. she bolted home and thoroughly enjoyed her towelling down :)
