GINGER BEE
Despite the damp, grey and cool weather there was plenty to see in the old cemetery, and I liked this ginger bee (Bombus pascuorum). As ever, I was cheered to watch Nature just getting on with it regardless of humanity.
Some sniggering teens were making sarcastic remarks as I was fossicking about in the undergrowth, but when I told them I was looking for spiders to photograph they started asking reasonably sensible questions.
