Harvest

The wasps were getting hungry so today we began our harvest.  This year of mixed weather has seen a lot of the plums and other soft fruit rotting on the trees before it ripens, but we managed to salvage quite a few plums and those we have are good flavour.   Apples will be next, apart from those windfalls due to the storm that we will leave for the insects.
