Fenced in
A 'free' day in the lakes before the workshop at LPH starts tomorrow. I'd planned to do a walk up to the Old Man of Coniston, and then a loop round clockwise along the ridge. The morning brought low cloud and fog, so a quick change of plan but still around Coniston.
I made out from the town (or village?) up towards Tarn Hows. The tops of the fells were hidden by in the mist, with a gentle wetting while walking through it. Very few people about, apart from the time up around the tarn itself. This shot was taken about half way up to the tarn. The sheep were most accommodating - I set up the camera, and they just wondered in to make the scene.
All topped off with cake and hot chocolate at Baldrys in Grasmere.
