It’s a dogs life

Our day was planned and then it changed. Just about to start our run and my mobile buzzed, daughter needed me to take her dog as the building work next door to her was really stressing the poor thing. So we did the run and then I picked up Ruby who spent the day with us, Hetty thought it was fab that we brought her pal back with us. They played all morning, and then we took them for a walk this afternoon and sat outside one of our favourite coffee shops and they had treats. We attempted to take them out again when my daughter came to collect Ruby but I think they were both tired and didn’t seem to want to walk far. Ruby loves to sit with hubby when he is reading and was doing just that when her human arrived.
Hetty has had a play with her ball and me this evening and was sound asleep in her favourite position earlier than usual.
It’s International Dogs Day today so seemed appropriate that our day was spent with them.
