Cleaning

the biodegradable waste bin.
This is clearly an emergency blip. I was cleaning a bin for the first time in years.  It takes some getting used to.  Because of the carport that will be in the garden, I will stop making compost. Cleaning the biodegradable waste bin will now be a biweekly chore.
