Rush to sow garlic
Now that they have found that garlic works well on greenhouse fungus, they are on-it.

Hi John,
Here is our second week February 2013 Farm report.
Our activities was as follows:
DIMBA: According to our plan for growing more vegetables with different types for sale. We still constructing seedbeds and continuing transplanting vegetables(Rape, Musterd and Chinese); Sowing Garlic and Kale.
ARABLE: Weeding in sweet potato field and soya in roadblock orchard.
also to the upper field weeding is still continuing and transplanting Gricidias.
ORGANIC: Natural pesticides experiment from GARLIC.
- 3 Large cloves garlic,crushed.
- 1 Tablespoon vegetable oil.
- 1 Litre water.
- 1 Tablespoon liquid soap.
Method: We combine the garlic and vegetable oil and leave to soak overnight. Strain and add to the liquid soap. and we spray to green houses to treat fungal problems.
Result: it works very well, and we managed to treat some lemon rootstock as well.
Greenhouse: The main activities was watering and desuckering.
To answer your question the work attitude of NRC Students: all are hard workers. Also they are good for their ability to ask relevant question from staff or supervisor.
