British Summer Time

Today is the start of BST - surely that means the temperature shouldn't be dropping to minus anything, even in the early hours of the morning!

I was at my friends flat in Edinburgh last night for a girlie night in. She's an archeologist who spends 6 months of the year in Cyprus on a dig, so we were having a good old blether before she flies out next week. One of her other friends that I haven't seen for 5 years or so was there too, so we all had great fun reminiscing. I'd told my husband I would only be a few hours, but time just flew by - I took this photo in the car when I arrived back home. As I hadn't actually changed the time on the car clock I guess I actually got home at 2.25am - ooops!

I've spent today glued to the PC. We're trying to book accommodation in the Derbyshire area for a few weeks at the end of next month. I am very fussy about where I stay and am detemined to get a converted barn type place, but it must have broadband. And it's harder than I thought! Each time I finally find a place I like (that is within budget), I check the availability and discover it's already booked for the weeks that we need! So frustrating! However, I've been described as tenacious on many an occasion so I won't give up till I find what I'm after!
