definitely not a gloomy sunday

fantastic weather today allowed for a un-planned bike ride, threw the camera in the backpack for good measure.

I took several shots under bridges like this, which invited some odd looks from passers by.

The main thing I was trying to capture was the caustic lighting effect hitting the metal struts from the water - but it didn't come out really.

I also used the flash (yep I'm mad) to provide some foreground lighting to the struts.
