Tuesday: Strathmore Lodge

I had a meeting on Davie Street this morning so walked up Bute to get there.  It’s probably one of my favourite streets with some really interesting buildings, such as this one.  It was a lovely day for a walk.

We went to the beach tonight with H and J for a picnic.  It’s always one of our favourite things to do in the summer.  H and I played bit bat, getting a top score of 214.  H. is very sporty so it’s always fun playing with her as she knows how to hit the ball to you in a way that you’ll get it back.  So I can’t take any credit for the score.
