Webbed Snowdrops
So Mrs C and I were having our habitual Saturday breakfast in the lovely wee village café, reading Catriona Stewart's column in Glasgow's "Herald" newspaper where she was very favorably comparing our (quote) "poor old mist-draped land" with Australia. Looking through the café window at the Caledonian dreichness, a friend challenged me to bring back a picture of loveliness from my impending ambulation along the stretch of the Ayrshire Coastal Path from West Kilbride to Largs. I decided to make a feature of the ubiquitous damp. I took this on the lane leading to Hunterston Castle using my Nikon D300s and a 60mm macro lens. Jings and/or crivvens I love living here.
