We indeed had our relaxing day. A wonderful lunch at a garden centre, a great wander taking flower pictures, and then a good read at a Swedish furniture store while the kids used up their remaining Joules.

This portrait was taken earlier, and is a family friend's daughter. I thought she was all dressed up to go to a party, but apparently that's just her casual Sunday look. The pink thing by her hand is a bag for her iPad, with which she showed me some pictures from her recent holiday from the Venice Mardi Gras. Unsurprisingly, she said there were loads of photographers there with big cameras. Which also reminds me, our daughter has to decorate her paper mask for her school Mardi Gras disco. Hopefully she won't just glue on some sad looking feathers at the last minute, like last year.
