Birthday Girl

It is Miss L's birthday today.
My beautiful, funny, cheeky, kind, generous, affectionate little girl!
We've been blessed with her happiness and mischief since she arrived, in fairly dramatic fashion, three years (and two hours!) ago.
Our world is a sunnier place for having her in it and I think myself lucky every day.
She knew it was her special day and enjoyed every minute.
And any day which starts with chocolate is a pretty good day in her book!!!
She now has a sparkly new pair of fairy wings, a new wand, a Peppa Pig tambourine and a fab circus tent amongst other goodies.
After a few hours we managed to drag the Little Misses out of the tent (where they'd taken all the new toys and a fair number of the old!) and we went to the swimming pool in Aylesbury which has slides, bubble beds, lazy rapids, hot tubs and a tunnel to a heated outside pool. They loved it!!!!
Then it was home to a birthday tea with Nana, Papa, Uncle B, Auntie L and Cousin T. What a lovely family we have! Even if some of them are a bit sniffy about making their own pizza to eat!!!
What an exhausting weekend! Worth it though as I know Miss L has had a lovely time.
