Break in the storm?

We were closely watching the weather satellite for a little less rain for our mini-outing.  The break in the storm seemed to disappear but we headed out anyway and managed to get a relatively dry outing for our mile and half MMT.  I'd cycled this way a little while ago but didn't drop in to visit The Atom.  It's a worthwhile adventure for a grim day with a takeaway cafe, some shelter, a bit of history and some quaint bridges and buildings.  We even had a view!  It felt a bit like our wet Scottish winter holidays when you want to feel like you've done something but not too much. 

As we arrived back to the car, the rain set back in again.
