Close up

A bit of trying out for my assignment this week, but I'm not sure I particularly like this image. I was so excited to cut open the pomegranate and see what was inside, but it was a bit disappointing - not the glorious colour that I'd expected. May try the same with a bell pepper tomorrow - or even just an apple.

Been up to see my mum and John today. Nice to see them both - the last visit got cancelled due to snow, so it was good to catch up. Spent the afternoon watching the rugby - well, they fell asleep in front of the rugby and I watched whilst knitting. By the way, I've finished the hat - finally. Now onto the matching scarf, which hopefully won't need so many stops and starts because it *ought* to be much more straightforward.
