Peas in a Dish

Out, I was dragged to that Port Edgar. I have a a birthday this week, y’see and I may be getting a surprise gift along nautical lines. My feet were needed. I looked away, needless to say.
Later, I dug up some vegetables  - the King Edwards - and found a mighty haul from just one plant. So many tubers that I was sufficiently enthused to turn my attention to the peas, the petit pois as I believed they were badged when sold to me. They’re small all right. And there aren’t very many of them either. Still, when expertly combined with an array of other seasonal vegetables a la française by the resident cook, they made an excellent accompaniment to the finest Scotmid chicken. Birthday week a go-go!!!
