Baharat
Had a go at cooking a new meal this evening, although not sure I'll be making it again as it was rather overly fragrant. I made up my own baharat spice mix, and then made an aubergine and chickpea stew with it. The spices smell amazing, but the 2 tablespoons required for the recipe seemed slightly excessive.
In other news, I'm feeling very lucky to still have all my skin today, after I fell while bouldering at the Arch. My foot slipped unexpectedly and I fell vertically downwards with my face, arms and legs all mere millimetres from the friction-painted surface. Phew!
