The last Photobook

After several years making photobooks of my Blips, this will be the last (- and this would not even have happened if it were not for the fact that I had paid for it in advance). Photobox have changed the system for making books - no longer using the Adobe system - and, as so often happens the change is not for the better! I found it extremely difficult to add text to the pages - needing to set font, size, and colour for each page rather than 'use for whole book' set up at the beginning. The text boxes were not easy to change shape and position and the cover was black - no choice that I could see. I could not face battling with 160 pages so I just let the system arrange the pics in date order (it did get that right) and printed the whole book with no text at all. I will write the text on each page and am experimenting with printing and binding the next one myself. I have over 30 Photobooks - they are like diaries, records of my day to day life, holidays and events over the years.
So Photobox have lost a customer for their books - another victim of the 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it' syndrome
