Out for Monday

Another one of these busy days. Started off getting absolutely soaked when I went to drop off the cat food donation at the vet's. I hadn't seen another owner in the doorway taking to the vet nurse so I had to stand outside as the water ran down my neck till they were finished.

Then to the flat to feed Archie before I headed to Sighthill to see the arrangements to make the campus secure. A lot of work has been done and it was reassuring to see the precautions in place. Of course there are very few students there at present and the sum is c to minimise the number of students and staff who have to come into College. By this time the rain has stopped.

Then to mum's and onward to Prestonfield House for lunch which was very fine. There was much hand sanitiser in evidence and we were temp checked going in. We had a brief walk round the grounds, although mum struggled a bit, and saw the peacocks. We sat for a bit and should have sat longer as the sun was coming out but we didn't know that at the time.

Home via the Manor to have a brief seat in the sun while a young cub stretched out on the rockery. Maybe the grass was too damp. These foxes have no fear.

Came in for a long call to J about Thursday's meeting and later I went for a walk. By this time it was a beautiful evening but somehow I managed to miss the Red Arrows flying over the Castle, odd as they are extremely loud.

Now catching up on some TV about Scottish lochs. This is a very busy week, much College work and not a lot of time to myself.
