Homemade soup

We had to send Mr PC‘s phone off for repair so we walked into the village to the post office taking the doggies with us and looking for something to blip on the way. We were almost home when we spotted this moth (see extra) on the side of the bridge - don’t you just love how it blends into the concrete.

Back home and we did a bit of cleaning and got the bedrooms ready for our doggie sitters on Thursday.

Then we picked a load more tomatoes and cucumbers and made soup also more cucumber pickle.

Tonight’s dinner....Roasted tomato and butternut squash soup accompanied by black pudding and Stilton toasted sandwiches.

Tomorrow we will tackle the bramley apples.
