Unhappy Monday.....

We have a weekly reminder which sits on the computer desk to remember everyone what days we are working etc, the kids young adults haven't quite grasped a shared calendar concept yet.

We got the news we were hoping not to get today and unfortuneatley my sister in law's CT scan came back showing no brain activity and care is to be withdrawn imminently......my brother is broken and we had a difficult conversation on the phone tonight. Broke the news to Kyle & Katie who are also deeply upset and still unsure if we can get into hospital for final farewell before the care is withdrawn. 

I'll speak to my work tomorrow who may give me flexibility to fit in a final farewell visit should I manage to move my diary round.

Goes to show the fragility of life and at 55 years of age taken way to soon.....I've got a real mix of emotions going on right now.
