Storm The Castle

I managed to persuade D to visit Windsor Castle although he said he could ‘walk around rooms and look at a dolls house at home’. As it happened, we couldn’t see the dolls house because that part was shut but we got to see a lot and walked a lot of steps!  I loved going round St George’s Chapel and had a lovely chat with a steward called John about Cambridge, John Lewis, Kings College and the Boat Race. It was amazing to see the tombs of many royals and the amazing art in many of the state rooms of the castle.
After the castle we walked into Eton, had a drink in the sunshine and a walk around.
Out for Greek food tonight but currently having a couple of drinks in the hotel bar.
