Caught in a web

It felt distinctly autumnal this morning with the mist and fine rain encouraging droplets to form on the spiders webs.  Made it look as if the water was hanging in the air.  I looked everywhere for a 'proper' spiders web - circular, spirally but couldn't find one.  Are spiders changing their approach to web design?
