A touch of autumn

The sun came out at the end of the day so I took a few pics in between sweeping and mopping the toilets - I reckoned that cleaning duties gave me an excuse to get my phone out. Today it felt as though autumn was beginning, which is about right as summer often ends around mid August here. The rowan trees are beginning to show some colour.

At work we've been delighted that our Just Giving fundraising page has raised over £900 since last Thursday - we were given the idea of fundraising after outpourings of support on our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/pg/RedhallWalledGarden/posts/?ref=page_internal) following recent vandalism. We are hoping to get our CCTV back up and running and extended. We have lost income this year through having to cancel our open days which we rely on to make ends meet, so being able to fundraise in this way is a bit of a silver lining.
