Day161

An expensive day. First came the eye examination at a new local optician. A new prescription 2 pairs of glasses later and a bill in 4 figures we went for a coffee to get over the shock! Once home I discovered my old optician professor Ron mallet passed away in December . He was a very clever man . If you have ever had an eye test then you would have used equipment he invented and developed. The OXO box or sometimes called the mallet box. He had something to do with the field of vision machine too. He was 91.
Then this afternoon I had my hair coloured. This is my hairdresser, belinda, in the background . Joe owns the salon, fernandos. This afternoon I was the only customer. Things are not very busy after lockdown
