A beautiful morning...

initially 9C and misty, then cleared to sunny and very warm. The heather up here was perfumed and deep and a delight to walk through. The view is across Strathspey to the Cairngorms.
Thistledown was blowing lower down and Goldfinches were enjoying feeding. Crossbills were calling from the tops of the pines and Crested Tits feeding in the lower branches.
In the pools below this shot watched and photoed Common Hawkers laying.
Wonderful day, wonderful walk.
